2 problems

1: The vocals. They're overdone - your voice just isn't raspy like you're trying to make it sound. Use effects or get someone who can speak like that better.

2: The cymbals. They kind of form the spine of your piece, holding it together, but the rhythm is either reasonably complicated, there isn't one, or i just don't get it. Simplify them - when they cut in at 00:41, they have potential, but the times aren't exactly right, at least not in my ears.

Overall, though, very good. I appreciate you thrashing out a back story BEFORE you write the music rather than after.

Cmdtrigun responds:

Thanks for the feedback. I know my voice isn't nearly deep enough for what I wanted but effects weren't working out, if I had a sound sample that would've been best I suppose. I know that the beat of the song is hard to get a grasp of and that's why the cymbals sound weird like that; this isn't something I'm going to change but I can see that it's off-putting for some people. Thanks for the comment and the 8, they are much appreciated :)

Um what?

You have interesting dreams; this could be a boss battle, but i see it more as a kind of chase song. Very ice job though.

Ankalegon responds:

yea, doesn't really have a chariot feel at all lol..
that trombone makes me think of something huge and scary coming out of the ground to give chase.
a chasey feel...
glad you like :)

I just want to tell you:

I am planning to build a Super Smash Brothers Game. I could find no possible application for this song, and I have a limited amount of space left on my computer- but I downloaded this song anyway. I loved this song. A perfect remix.

Ihsman07 responds:

Thank you. I am glad to hear you like my music. I'm sorry to hear about the lack of space and how much this takes on your computer.

Great.

I love the rhythm. I'm actually thinking about using this in a flash of mine.

TheCon-Sept responds:

When it finally comes out I want to see it.

Dude, I love your songs.

But i sense that you've been going away from your old really good ones, like The Beginning of Time and some other ones that I cannot remember the name of. Try to go back to that style, and maybe blend it with this one a little. I recognize that this is a standalone dance song, but still try to go back a bit to where you were.

dj-Nate responds:

I'm all over bro. Don't worry. I'm still sticking with everything.

Good.

The synth strings in the first part are slightly off key, but then they get better. That may be intended to be dissonance, you tell me. What I don't understand, though, is why it's called Alabama. 9/10, 5/5.

djdragonboy responds:

Alabama is where we opened the recording studio. I started playing around just to test the gear and ended up writing a song. The strings are the JX10, which may not have been calibrated at the time.

Great remix.

5/5, 10/10. Sonic Heroes was the only Sonic game I ever played, and I liked it a lot. This is a great remix.

PaulyBFromDa303 responds:

YOURE KIDDING ME?

You got some catching up to do. But I can guarantee you'll come to love Sonic. Thnx for the review

Great.

To brerak the monotony that sorta develops, you could use really cool panning or do some volume changes. Probably both.

PaulyBFromDa303 responds:

I thought I tried too hard when holding out that monotone, I know exactly what you mean, and you could be right.

Kinda funny...

Are all the voices you?

StrawberrySoda1 responds:

Yes~

I would call this Ambient

This is really good. It may not be too exciting (you can work on that) but to me it shows musical talent.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Thanks.

I'm awesome!
